Week 1 - Introduction
I had a few ideas for this week, however the weather messed the main idea up, I will attempt it when the weather is better.
I have been looking at street photography recently and wanted to try and do a portrait in a street photography style. I looked at the work of Vivian Maier who would photograph herself in shop windows and mirrors as well as document the world around her. I decided to do my take on a Vivian Maier mirror shot in the little strip of mirrors on the hallway landing.
When editing I originally took it to back and white, however I felt this was just a little to harsh so took the saturation down to nearly black and white which keeps the slight gold edge to the mirror and lime green of the cap.
